As we expand our presence in the APAC region, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Business Developer for the APAC region, you will play a key role in driving our growth and market presence. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and closing deals. Your efforts will directly contribute to the expansion of our customer base and revenue in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market studies to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the APAC region.
  • Lead Generation: Actively generate and qualify leads to drive sales growth.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with resellers and distributors to expand market reach.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the Head of Sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the SaaS or software industry, preferably with a focus on manufacturing or mechanical engineering sectors.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products, especially Vault and Inventor, or similar PDM and CAD software is a plus.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes in mechanical engineering, from design to production, is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
  • Fluent English (mandatory).
  • Additional APAC region languages are a strong advantage.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES in the Product Team:

  • Work in an agile development team, closely collaborating with the Product Owner, Support, and Service teams.
  • Involvement in the entire software development lifecycle: analysis, development, documentation, and quality assurance.
  • Focus on user needs: developing simple, secure, and seamless standard software to minimize time and complexity for customer adaptations.
  • Maintenance and enhancement of standard products and related libraries, setups, etc.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) with object-oriented programming languages such as C# or similar.

  • Practical experience in agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Experience with Autodesk Vault or ERP systems as a user is a plus.

Job Description:

You are responsible for analyzing, advising and optimizing customer processes to ensure that their needs are accurately captured and effectively solved. You will support our clients in identifying their goals and guide them through implementation. By working closely with project managers and programmers, you will ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Problem identification and analysis
  • Analyzing and evaluating solutions proposed by customers
  • Process consulting and optimization
  • Documentation of solutions in the form of “UseCases” and “Tasks” and handover to the programmers
  • Weekly project updates to the customer (without budget)
  • Budget reporting to the project manager
  • Escalation of showstoppers and delays reported to the project manager
  • Conducting mentoring and scoping meetings
